 It's been a while since I've done an instaFriday so some of these pictures go back a few weeks.  I've been a bad blogger lately.  The past few weeks are really a blur.  I still haven't adjusted to our new school schedule.  I thought Back to School would mean lots of extra work time and free time for mommy but so far it has not worked out that way.  I think I have spent most of my time either at school or running errands to get stuff for school.  Determined to find some balance this week.

Back to school festivities...Charlie hit the ticket Jackpot! 

1st Day of School Pics:  I cannot believe I have a 7th grader, 5th grader and 1st grader!!

Graham is doing XCountry again this year.  Here are the spikes he picked out on Spike Night.

1st meet of the season and he scored a medal!  So proud of this kid!  Can't wait to see if he reaches his sub-6 mile goal this year.  I know he can but either way, this kid (and all those other runners) amaze me.  This is a tough sport.

Football season has started and our little cheerleader is loving it!

I did the Glow Run again this year with these lovely ladies.  We stepped it up and went all out with our outfits.  My dreams finally came true...I got to wear a tutu. :)

This really is the most fun 5K ever!  Here's the crowd right before it started.  There was neon as far as the eye could see.  So cool.

After the run...we got medals too!

1st graders have REAL homework.  Oh My does this little man look cute doing REAL homework!

InstaFriday...on Saturday

Happy Friday...well it might be Saturday but I'm trying to squeeze in my InstaFriday at the last minute!

Here's where I dump my phone photos for our week in review.

I tried another post from my phone and for some reason the pictures all loaded in the opposite order so you are seeing our week in rewind :)

I still can't believe that I got to write this in my calendar!!!  I'm going to Whatever Craft Weekend!!!  I've been sending swag to the lucky attendees for a while now but never thought I'd actually get to go!!  My friend, Thuy, got her name drawn and asked me to tag along!  I'm pretty excited but a little nervous because I am not really that crafty and I'm kinda shy about meeting new people but it will be good for me, right??

Charlie wanted to buy this teeny tiny itsy bitty remote control car the other night and Nathan REALLY didn't want him to because he thought he would lose it.  We let him buy it (it was his own money) and before we even got home he had lost it in the car.  We searched that car from top to bottom with flashlights for an hour.  We moved the seats and rolled our eyes at each other and yelled about the goldfish in the seats and listened to Charlie cry and we never found that car.  Three days later Charlie found it between the drivers seat and the tv.  It was kind of funny.  He was super excited. 

It's busy over here in the PaperDoll shop.

We have been living in the car lately.  Driving here.  Driving there.  Cross country, gymnastics, cheer practice, back to school shopping.  Lots of car time!

I went to the Crafter's Bash last Saturday night.  I came home with a bag full of fun swag!  My Nora and her friend Macy raided our bags as soon as we got home and had their own little Crafter's Bash.

I got my friend, Shelle, to come along with me. We had so much fun and since we don't sew it was pretty amazing that we knocked these ruffle aprons out!!

Look how cute everything was!  Even the food that I didn't eat was adorable!  Darn that 28 day challenge!

Thuy did an awesome job!  It was adorable and so much fun!

Graham jammed his finger playing basketball...ouch!

This moment was the highlight of Charlie's week!  His kindergarten teacher that just moved to Houston was on her way through town while traveling and stopped by to pick up an order.  He was so surprised to see her!  We miss you already, Mrs. Chang!!

Sunday morning before church

I am in LOVE with these plastic mason jars!  I use one everyday so it only made sense to have one of every color!!  Thanks Terra for starting my collection and getting me hooked!!

Nora just had to have these glasses from the $ section at Target this week.

She's so funny...she's been wearing them everyday.

Here's proof that there's some reading going on this summer!

Graham started XCountry training this week.  These kids AMAZE me!  They run every day in this crazy Oklahoma humidity and heat and they have the best attitudes.  The coaches are amazing and the kids are rock stars.

We did a major clean in Graham's closet this week.  He's had a major growth spurt recently and I got so tired of him coming downstairs in clothes that were too small.  I had to get them out of his closet.  By the time we were done the poor kid had maybe10 things hanging in his closet.  It's seriously empty.  That's what happens when you grow 2 inches in just a few months.  While we were at it he found a box of Webkinz and gave them all to Olive and Pippa.  Olive was super excited.

Happy Friday!

Here's where I dump my phone photos for our week in review.

It's been a while since I've done an InstaFriday and this one is a little lacking and a lot out of order.  I was trying out the phone app to do this post and couldn't figure out how to rearrange the pictures.  Oh well...

I had two big bags of sour gummy worms this week.  Once I start eating them, I can't stop.  I'm done.  It had been a while and I've had my little fling and now I am breaking up with gummy worms.

I decided at the beginning of the week that I needed to clean out my recipe/cookbook cabinet.  I drug all of this out with big plans of color coded binders and lots of recipe purging....and then put it all back in.  Maybe next week...

The big and the middle were at camp this week so it was just me and this guy.  We had some movie dates and lunch dates and I think he enjoyed all the attention but then he REALLY started missing his brother and sister.  Nora came home yesterday and he was happy at first but they are already fighting like crazy.  Graham will be home tomorrow and he can't wait.

You know you've picked the right book when you want to toss it in the pool after reading the introduction.  This is going to be a good one but I'm not sure I want to hear it.  STUBBORN.

I'm nerdy, over the top, can't stop thinking about it, excited for this Barre 3 28 to Great Challenge.  It comes with checklists!!!  I've been on an off and on healthy eating kick for a while now but maybe this will really help me stick with it.  Plus, I'm in love with Barre workouts.  I got my kit in the mail and will officially start next week.  Blog post coming soon...

This picture is blurry but it CRACKS ME UP!!  They told the adults NOT to get on the bus to take pictures.  Nathan is a rule breaker and jumped on really fast to get a pic.  Nora is HORRIFIED but her friend Macy is all smiles.  So funny.

Here's where I dump my phone photos for our week in review.

I was pretty lazy this week with documenting our little life but I did manage to snap a few fun pics...

This is my nephew dog Simon.  Isn't he the cutest, ugliest thing??

Did some major cleaning/organizing in the studio.  That always makes me happy.

Wednesday morning I read the above in Jesus Calling and WOW!  I CANNOT seem to get this right.  I want to be that Proverbs 31 woman but can't figure out how to be her without going overboard.  How do I keep it about glorifying God rather than just satisfying my need to organize/control.  This topic is an entire blog post on it's own.  It's been something I've never been able to figure out.  Anyone out there got it down and wanna share?

Charlie...insisted on ice cream IN A CONE and then insisted on eating it WITH A SPOON!

This sweet girl and I had so much fun on Thursday!  We've been planning for weeks to do a dollhouse makeover and we finally tackled the living room.  She was so excited about painting and decorating.

We are putting the finishing touches on it this weekend and will do a big "reveal" next week but here's a sneak peak.  It's way fun to decorate a tiny house.  I think I will be ready to move on into it by the time we are done!

It's not summer until you've run through the sprinkler and then run through the house with your grass covered feet!

Here's where I dump my phone photos for our week in review...

 

 We (I) decided we needed a little porch bench makeover so...

we (Nathan) painted it my favorite spray paint color...Heirloom White.

Much better.

Charlie hula hooped while we (Nathan) painted.  Love the tongue...

I should have had him inside cleaning his room.  I give up!

I've long been a little in love with the idea of a fairy garden.  I saw this one at a little garden shop in town, The Garden Trug, and I am now A LOT in love with the idea of a fairy garden.  It's on my must do list now.

Nora picked out all the wallpaper for her dollhouse makeover and started pealing wallpaper this week.  We didn't get very far since she had VBS this week.  Maybe next week... 

I'm still working on the drinking water thing...but the Diet D.P. and I are BFFs. 

Just happened to look over this receipt the other day and noticed that we bought PROTEIN BARF!!  Who put that in our cart???  I've been laughing about this one for days.  I don't know why I find it so funny but I literally laughed until I cried.  Protein Barf.

The kids are still obsessed with action shots. 

Nora has moved on to back flips now.



My new cute To Do list is sure looking cute but summer time is ROUGH on my work from home mom gig.  My three littles will be very disappointed to hear that I'm declaring several days next week as "stay at home all day and do nothing fun at all so mom can work" days.
