The things you do for love...

Over the past several years, I've been asked many times if I could do a Batman this or a Spider-Man that. I've never done it. I confess, it's because I've always had a thing against characters. I've never bought Bob the Builder shoes or Thomas the Train t-shirts for my boys. Graham did not get the light up Spider-Man shoes that he wanted when he was 4. Until the cute vintage shirts came out recently I had successfully limited characters to underwear and pajamas. I don't know if it's because he's the third child or because he has puppy dog eyes, but Charlie has made me cave. When I asked him what kind of lunchbox he wanted he promptly shouted "Batman!!!" So here you have it...

Batman Lunchbox...because Charlie usually gets his way. And I love him.

kid pics. It's been way too long. We're headed out tomorrow to a field somewhere to have pictures taken by Malisa. She took the one above way too long ago. I must confess th at I avoid photo shoots for as long as possible. Taking pictures is not my favorite family activity. Graham has inherited a "close your eyes at any sign of a camera" gene (thanks dad!) and Nora tends to think that we are on a modeling shoot dedicated to her only. Charlie has the attention span of a flea right now so...

yummy meals! A friend told me about E-mealz and after hesitating for a few weeks I finally signed up. I love how it prints the grocery list for me and so far we have really liked the meals we've made. I think it will save me money too! BONUS! Click on the link above if you're interested.
