The past month has been pretty crazy yucky over here. In the last 4 weeks we've had 2 cases of the stomach bug, 4 cases of strep and 4 cases of the flu. Charlie has had a fever and a nasty cough for 6 days today. Thank goodness he hasn't had a fever since around lunchtime and he's sleeping soundly right now. I think he's on the mend. I've been feeling yuck for a few days. I am not a good sick person. My poor house looks like a disaster and I'm really not even sure what my kids ate for lunch today. I have been holding out on taking my Tamiflu because I heard it made some people hallucinate and I'm not big on taking lots of medicine. Today I couldn't stand it any longer and I popped a Tamiflu. A 2 hour nap later, I'm feeling lots better. To brighten our snowbound day even more, my husband's friend drove him all around town getting medicine and groceries (our snow-worthy car is in the shop) and even stopped by to pick up some of the NEW PAPERDOLL SPIRALS that were waiting for me!!!
