Reading...
I rarely find time to read but this one is holding my attention.

Contemplating...

a yellow accessory. I keep seeing yellow everywhere but yellow is NOT my color. I'm thinking some shoes or a purse?? How cute are those shoes?? I'll be looking for the Payless variety.

Obsessing over...

Nail polish and mascara and eye liner and lip gloss. I don't know why. I've never been a big make-up girl but lately I have an obsession. I'm not buying a lot of it....just drooling over it. I'm searching for the perfect mascara. Do you know what it is?? I also recently went back to this.
Why did I ever stray???
Wondering why...
there is no such thing as a size 9 in children's clothing. There is a 6 and a 7 and an 8 and a 10....where is the freaking 9??? Poor Graham....too big for size 8 and too small for size 10. What's a mom to do??? It's time for new clothes but nothing fits!!!
Fascinated by...
WOW. That's all I've got...
Studying with 4 sweet friends...

I am LOVING this study and LOVING time with some great friends.

Wishing I could get to the end of...

Shurley English. Maybe I am wishing I could get to the end of this homeschooling year in general....but that's a post of its own.

Watching...
American Idol with the rest of the world. As of today, I am digging these two.

Especially white haired Lilly. I'm loving her style of music right now.

Waiting for...

I'm like hold number 43 for this cookbook at the library. The Dave Ramsey in me won't let me buy it until I know for sure that I NEED it. I'm waiting and waiting...

Still trying to figure out why...

Jake picked Vienna. What was he thinking????

Procrastinating.

Obviously. Who has time to make posts like this?

  1. Karen - i feel your pain with shurley english (glad i'm not teaching it!) and the kids clothes - Nathan is in the same position, try different brands. I loved Living Beyond Yourself - actually, i just love Beth Moore...i just started Breaking Free with a small group of friends. Lastly, i have PW Cooks, if you'd like to borrow my copy for a couple of days to check out the recipes, i'd be happy to loan it to you. (The cinnamon rolls are to die for!) Email me. Cindy B.

the white haired lily is my fave....my mother was JUST ASKING ME THIS MORNING who my fave is....that's what i said....LILY!

my fave mascara is the cheap maybelline kind, i think it's maybelline....it's pink with a green lid...maybe it's covergirl....jet black on these blonde lashes....

guess that's it....oh, vienna....i think they portrayed her in a bad light...i think he wanted a little young thing...remember he caled her "my baby" on after the rose....he wanted someone to adore him and bat her eyelashes at him and he wants to take care of her and i guess they have some kinda smokin' hot chemistry too....seems like it...ya know....it's all REAL AND EVERYTHING RIGHT?????

    okay...peace out girl scout.

  9. You can borrow my PW cookbook if you want :)
I bought it last month and have made her super yummy cinnamon rolls. It is a MUST for an OK GIRL! I'm going to send a bunch back East to my family for Christmas next year. But seriously, I'll drop it off tomorrow in your tupperware container and pick it up in a week - sound good?
Then you'll know if it will just be one of those books that you buy, look at once and never use or if you'll dog ear the pages and use the recipes all the time...
