March Jars of Hope

*UPDATE: All the March spots are full. I will be sending out more jars in April.

It's time to send out the March Jars of Hope.

I'd love to send out 4 Jars of Hope this month. If you know a mom that is fighting cancer and you'd like for her to receive a jar, please email me with her info at paperdolldesigns@cox.net. You can read about Jars of Hope here. My only request is that if you are local AND the recipient is local, please come by and pick up so you can deliver the jar and it will save the shipping cost. 54 Days until Easter!

I noticed the Easter aisles were ready to go when I was at Target this weekend. That's always my cue to get to work on the next holiday! (I know St. Patrick's Day is really next but I'm ready to move on to Easter today!) I'm kicking things off with an EASTER SALE!! All melamine plates, platters and trays are ON SALE today!! Thy Word

About 6 months ago, God placed the phrase "thy word" on my heart and in my mind. I had no idea why or what it really meant but I found myself saying it in my head over and over and over again. It popped into my mind while driving, while working, while trying to sleep...all the time. I finally decided to go with the most obvious and started reading and really studying God's Word on a daily basis. Then I reached out and asked some others to join me and that seemed to do the trick....for about a hot minute. I knew I was supposed to do SOMETHING else with this "thy word" situation and it hit me a few weeks ago. I have loved my system of organizing/documenting my daily reading so I decided to make a "Thy Word" spiral with the hopes that others would love it too.
It's totally simple. There is nothing fancy about it...well, maybe the ribbon paper clips are a little fancy. I am no expert on how one should set up their spiritual journals or document their time spent with God BUT I know what has been working for me. I know that I am motivated by pretty spirals and cute pencils and fun paper clips and I LOVE the thought of filling an entire spiral from cover to cover.

I added them to the shop over the weekend and am so excited that people are already placing orders! This is truly a "God thing" and I'm so excited to see where He takes this!

SEND MORE SNAIL MAIL!

When PaperDoll Designs first started, I sold note cards. That was pretty much it. Lots of note cards. Things have changed so much in the last 10 years and now because of email and texting and all that great stuff, I don't sell a ton of note cards. It kind of makes me sad. I want to be part of the "bring back snail mail" revolution. I love the happy mail hashtag that you see on Instagram all the time and the push going on to bring back the handwritten note. This Girl

This baby girl of mine is growing up so fast! I mean it...you blink and they are big!

Some friends invited Nathan and her to a Father/Daughter Dance last weekend. She was SO excited. She picked out this dress and she looked so pretty in it. It is a little girlier than her normal attire so I was thrilled. Of course, she paired it with cowboy boots and a million bracelets because that's just so Nora.
