I've got a new PaperDoll product in the works. I'm thinking about adding PaperDoll Lunchboxes to the line this summer. They are super cute and can be used as the obvious - a lunchbox - or to hold art supplies, Lego's, Polly Pockets, etc. I'm definitely going to get some practice on them by making them for my little darlings this summer and we are going to give this one for Charlie a little test drive over the next few days to see how it holds up. He loves his "wunchbox" and has been carrying it around like a prized possession. If I add them they will be priced around $25. They are large enough to fit a sippy cup/thermos and a lunch and the waterproof design is printed on both sides of the silver metal box. As always, they would be available in any of my designs. I've seen them elsewhere starting at $30 plus shipping. Most places are at $36+. I'd love to have your feedback. Do you think these would be a hit?

It's been such a busy weekend! The Baker and I went on a date Saturday night. We NEVER do that! We always have at least one little darling with us so it was a big deal to get to go out by ourselves. We went here (YUM!!!) and then we went to see this. It was pretty funny...not funny like I thought it was going to be but still funny. I love to go see movies and we NEVER go so I would have been happy to see anything. Well, almost anything.


Today I started making tumblers. I ran out of shelf space so I started stacking them. Next thing I knew I had this:

Did I mention that I've had a few tumbler orders lately? Graham thought this was fascinating but it was driving him mad that I wasn't going to finish my pyramid and Charlie was dying to pull the middle center one right out and Nora drew a picture of it. Their reactions totally sum up their personalities.

Happy Birthday Dear Baker!

Yesterday was The Baker's Birthday! It was a crazy busy day but lots of fun. The practice carrot cake was YUMMY and the real deal is in the picture above. It didn't turn out as cute as my inspiration but I liked it and can't wait to decorate another cake like this...maybe girly colors though for Miss Nora.

Here's his birthday gift...he was super excited and can't wait to use it. I'm super excited about the color! It's so pretty! I figured I could pick the color since he didn't really care. And here's the annual picture that I take of the family minus me...

Late Night Designs

I think that's what I should have called this little business. It seems I can only get work done late at night. The Baker doesn't really understand why I can't get anything done while I'm home with our darling 2 year old. Moms? Do you understand why I can't get much done while I'm home with our darling 2 year old? thank you. I'm a night owl but lately I've been staying up even later than normal to get caught up and all the Diet Dr. Pepper in the world doesn't seem to be enough to keep me going all day. Last night my goal was to make a huge dent in the tumblers/sports bottles/sippy orders that I have but I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. I got this little row of beauties done....there are going to be lots of happy teachers this year! I think these will be the perfect teacher gift!

Tomorrow is the Baker's birthday. We're having family over for dinner so maybe, just maybe I should clean the house. He also wants a carrot cake so I am thinking a practice run is in order...I've never baked a carrot cake and let's face it...I'm not The Baker! I didn't think it would be right to make him bake his own cake though. I'll let you know how it goes!

We played outside again today. My kids all three have different outdoor personalities:

This one - claims he wants to play outside but then easily gets bored and is the first to wander back inside...

This one: wants to be outside only if someone else claims to want to be outside; wants to go inside when someone else claims to want to go inside...

This one: wants to be outside from the minute he wakes up in the morning; would gladly go outside alone or with strangers; would stay outside until forced to come inside or until offered fruit chewies.

After all the playing and once we really smelled like the wind we took early baths and had a movie night. We finally watched "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" and we loved it! I definitely recommend it!

I've been robbed!

I had to go INSIDE the bank today. Now I go to the bank almost daily but I'm a drive-through-get-a-lollipop kind of banker. Today I had to go INSIDE. You wanna know why? Because I've been robbed! Last night I was doing one of my OCD habits of checking my account balance online and there were tons of charges that I did not make! Lots of movies were purchased using my card and I shudder to think what kind of movies they were. There were some other charges too. I rushed to find my card and it was right there in my wallet. So there I was at midnight on the phone with the bank getting my card cancelled. This morning I had to go to the bank and fill out paperwork so they could start an investigation. They say someone probably got my information by hacking into a computer. SCARY!!! Not to mention a HUGE pain! I've got lots of accounts set up with that card and now I have to change them all. It makes me so mad that someone has the nerve to do this sort of thing! At least I caught it before they wiped us out! So that was my Monday morning. How was yours?

I declare tomorrow "Get Caught Up Monday"

because "Get Caught Up Weekend" was kind of a flop. It was a flop in a good way though. The weather was beautiful! It's my favorite time of the year. We spent almost the whole weekend outside and the Three Little Darlings were so happy! The Baker - not so much! We raked at least 10 bags of leaves and I think this is the fourth time in the last month or so that we have had to do that. When we bought This Old House several months ago we were so excited about the character and the HUGE trees. Nathan (that's The Baker's real name) said today that he'd like to go back to our old house that had ZERO trees. Surely he doesn't mean it....I love this old house! It has some major flaws but I love it still!

So I played outside all weekend and didn't get as much accomplished in the PaperDoll Studio (fancy for office) as I would have liked. I've got pictures though...

I almost forgot - this Little Darling got to go on a pony ride this weekend. She loved it!

Poor Charlie was sick yesterday and today! He's checking his temperature in this pic. He's been so sweet for the past 48 hours and he's not terribly sick...just sick enough to prevent us from running our errands that really needed to be run. He snuggled up with me for a late afternoon nap today while the big kids were at friends' houses...it was so nice. I LOVE LOVE LOVE a good afternoon nap!
I declare this weekend "get caught up" weekend! The orders just keep coming in - no complaints - and while the Baker is home (hopefully baking) I hope to get lots of them done! Speaking of the Baker...his birthday is one week from today. Something exciting was delivered yesterday...can't wait for him to see it!!!
